Jim Taggart, Jackie Reid, Kate Fleming or Just Me at a Wedding

I took this photo this week and I've got to be honest, I look like about to file a report, not run a humanist wedding ceremony!

I've never realised how much I look like I'm one of Taggart's sidekicks. Channelling my inner Jackie Reid. Or, for the under 30's among us: think Kate Fleming from Line of Duty.

Although all I actually had to do was marry my gorgeous couple, not interrogate them.

Well, mostly.

You see, marrying you isn's something I 'just do' - if you've read my introduction to my website you'll have read that. It means way more. Way more.

And the only thing I investigate is your love story - without shining a light in your eyes of course! I also don't rock up to your house on a Friday night with a bottle of wine and sit between you on the sofa.... although feedback, so far, is very strong in it's favour.

What we will do is get to know each other in a way that feels like sharing your story with a friend - and honestly, that's when the magic starts to happen.

The truth of this photo, though, is far less dramatic. It was just me, soaking up with sunshine at the lovely Busby Hotel, watching the wedding day world go by, while Wayne of White Rose Photography did his thing - capturing the magical after-ceremony glow of our newlyweds, in the most perfect of places.

Then it was time for my goodbyes.

Another very happy ending, on file ♥️
